Bridges

A bridge can be an excellent way to restore missing teeth if the teeth on either side would benefit from a crown and are yet strong enough to carry the forces the extra teeth they will give them.

Adhesive bridges have wings that stick to the teeth beside the gap.

Bridges are fixed in your mouth, and you do not remove them like a denture.

Over time the gum will shrink under the bridge. The shrinkage will be an issue at the front of your mouth, creating a gap under the bridge. An implant, if properly placed and maintained, should keep your gum and bone so this shrinkage does not happen.
